This listing is for the standard Unitree R1 at AUD $16,995. It is not the R1 AIR or R1 EDU.

Included hand functionality and software access

• Fixed, non-articulating hands: the supplied hand-shaped end effectors do not open or close and have no powered gripping function. No functional gripper or dexterous hand is included.
• No object-grasping or fine-manipulation capability is included. This configuration is not supplied to pick up, carry or manipulate objects, operate tools or steer a vehicle.
• No Python/C++ secondary-development support: the standard R1 does not include the R1 EDU development capability or SDK-based programming access.

About this configuration

A humanoid robot for supervised movement demonstrations and technology displays using the functions available in its supplied software. It is not advertised as a programmable research platform, autonomous service worker or household assistant.

• Joint layout: 6 degrees of freedom per leg, 5 per arm and 2 at the waist.

Arm-load specifications are not gripping specifications

The approximately 2 kg arm-load figure previously quoted does not establish object-grasping or carrying capability. Arm loading varies with posture. It must not be interpreted as an ability of the supplied fixed hands to hold objects.

R1 EDU and optional equipment

The R1 EDU Standard and EDU Smart configurations provide SDK/development support but do not include dexterous hands in our R1 series comparison. The separately specified EDU Pro A/B configurations include Dex3 hands, while EDU Pro C/D configurations include Revo 2 hands. These capabilities and accessories are not included in this standard R1 listing. Do not assume that an EDU feature, optional hand or promotional demonstration is available on this unit. Contact Robot Specialist to confirm a separately specified configuration if your project requires programming or object manipulation.

Use the robot under supervision in a suitable clear area, following the manufacturer's operating instructions and keeping people at a safe distance from moving joints. Confirm that this standard configuration suits your intended use before ordering.
